John Cary’s County Maps 1787 – A superb 18th century work showing a detailed and accurate record of towns and villages in colour for each County in England & Wales. The reverse of each map also include the original ‘Topography’ providing details of the landscape, and principal landowners at that time. Scales vary. Maps are available for individual Counties.
The ‘North Wales’ map shows the counties of Anglesey, Carnarvon, Denbigh, Flint, Merioneth and Montgomery. The ‘South Wales’ map shows the counties of Brecknock, Cardigan, Carmarthen, Glamorgan, Pembroke and Radnor. Two sizes are available – A4 [for reference folders] and A3 which is suitable for framing.
